Snagglepuss is back with help from DC Comics and St. John's artist Mike Feehan
Mike Feehan is a Canadian artist and illustrator who's working on a new DC Comics series based on the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon, Snagglepuss. The original cartoon character — a pink anthropomorphic mountain lion with a desire to be a stage actor — was created in 1959 and voiced mostly by Daws Butler. The new invention of the character portrays Snagglepuss as a gay playwright in the style of Tennessee Williams, brought before the House Committee on Un-American Activities in 1950s America.
Today, Feehan joins us live in the q studio to discuss the reinvention of Snagglepuss and how it feels to fulfil this life-long dream.
The first issue of Exit Stage Left: The Snagglepuss Chronicles is available in print and online now.
