Haviah Mighty joins Tom Power live in the q studio to reflect on winning the $50,000 Polaris Music Prize.

Every year, the Polaris Music Prize is handed out to the one Canadian act who has released the best album of the past year, based solely on artistic merit, as chosen by a jury of critics and broadcasters from across the country. Last night the $50,000 prize was handed out to Toronto rapper Haviah Mighty. She joined q's Tom Power live in studio to reflect on her victory.
