Colter Wall's old soul brings new life to country
Saskatchewan native Colter Wall is only 21 years old, but his debut record sounds like it was made by a seasoned veteran.
Colter Wall hails from Swift Current, Sask., and is 21 years old, yet his voice sounds like it belongs to a weary traveller who has spent decades on the road.
Wall's self-titled debut album of partially autobiographical country and folk-fuelled songs was recorded in Nashville with acclaimed producer Dave Cobb.
Wall sits down with Tom Power to discuss his music, reflect on being the son of Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall, and play songs "Motorcycle" and "Thirteen Silver Dollars" from his much buzzed-about debut album.
