His company is creating street level heat maps by driving around neighbourhoods with heat sensing cameras mounted on cars, much like Google does for its street view feature. The difference is, they use infrared light to create heat maps to identify streetlights and transformers that are out. But most importantly, they see how much energy your home is wasting.
