Robert's Rules of the Piano

Robert Harris has always wanted to try to teach Michael the basics of the piano - so we're going to give it a try. This is the first of Michael's on-air piano lessons with Robert. Robert begins at the beginning, as Michael learns how the piano got its name, and how the piano actually works.

ABOUT ROBERT: Robert is a long-time music journalist, writer, teacher and broadcaster.  From 2000-2008, he was the host and producer of I Hear Music, a weekly show presented on CBC Radio 2.

He is the author of two books, What To Listen For in Mozart, and What To Listen For in Beethoven.
