New podcast image
A number of you have been asking how to update the image associated with The House podcast. The answer depends on your device and operating system, but here are some options that should help most of you out.
If you're listening on iTunes, you can either ...
A) Update iTunes (recommended):
Download the latest version of iTunes here: http://www.apple.com/ca/itunes/download/
Click the "Download Now" button. (It should automatically know if you're a Windows or Mac user)
Once iTunes is downloaded to your computer, locate the installer. Double click on the icon to install iTunes.
The podcast feed will update once you open iTunes and the new The House image will appear.
B) Re-subscribe to the podcast:
Open your version of iTunes.
Go to your podcast subscription listings.
Right click on the "The House" image.
In the menu that appears, click on delete. You will get a window asking if you want to delete. Click on the Delete. button. Another window asking you if you want to move the files into the Trash/Recycle folder will appear. Click on Move to Recycle Bin or Trash.
Go to the iTunes store.
Search for "The House" from CBC Radio.
Click on The House image.
Click on the Subscribe Button.
You will get a window asking if you want to want to Subscribe. Click Subscribe again.
Go back to your podcast subscription listings. The House image should be updated.
If you're using the CBC Radio App ...
The CBC Radio App has been updated with the new The House image. If you have an older version of the app and still see the old The House image, follow these steps:
Hold Down on the CBC Radio App Icon with your finger until it starts to shake (all your app icons will be shaking)
Press the X in the top left corner of the app icon.
A window will appear asking you if you want to Delete. Click on the Delete button.
Go to the App Store App and click to open it.
Search for the CBC Radio App.
Download to install.
The new The House image will appear.
If you're using the podcast App for iOS 7 ...
Apple tells us the only option is to delete your app and then reinstall it.
If you're using TuneIn & Stitcher ...
The TuneIn and Stitcher Apps have had their images updated. You should not have to update those apps.
