Calling all film lovers! Join CBC and experience the vibrant tapestry of storytelling at F1RST: A Celebration of Indigenous Film from June 19 to 22 in Victoria, B.C. From stirring documentaries to captivating dramas, immerse yourself in the rich culture and heritage of Indigenous people.
In partnership with the Victoria Film Festival, the 4-day event features 11 films, 4 skills development workshops, 2 emerging filmmaker workshops, 1 shorts program, a panel and more! All of the workshops and panels are free with registrations.
Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day with a free, all-ages screening of Reel Injun – a Canadian documentary examining the portrayal of Indigenous people in film airing on Saturday, June 21 at The Vic Theatre.
