Man stabbed during brawl at the Cabana Lounge in Vancouver

One man was taken to hospital with stab wounds, after an apparent brawl at the Cabana Lounge in Vancouver, early Saturday morning.
The incident happened at the club on Granville Street near Helmcken Street some time around 2:30 a.m.
Paramedics with the B.C. Ambulance Service carried the victim out of the club on a stretcher and loaded him into an Advanced Life Support unit, before rushing him to the hospital. His condition was listed as critical.
A bouncer at the club was heard saying as many as nine people were involved in a fight leading up to the stabbing.
Vancouver police haven't commented on the incident.
