Sex attack suspect sketch released by Abbotsford police
Stranger tried to expose himself and then attacked woman in the 2400 block of Gladwin Road
Police in Abbotsford, B.C., have released a composite sketch of a suspect who allegedly attempted to expose himself to a woman and then attacked her on Thursday night.
Sgt. Ian MacDonald with the Abbotsford Police Department said the incident happened near Mill Lake Park at around 8 p.m. PT.
The 29-year-old woman said she was approached by a man while she was walking down the sidewalk in the 2400 block of Gladwin Road.
A man walked up behind her and started making verbal advances. She sped up her walking to get away, and he continued to chase her and tried exposing himself to her.
She then tried calling 911, at which point he grabbed her and threw her to the ground. She got up and away, and ran to an apartment building where she was able to call police.
The attacker fled.
The attacker is described as a man in his 30s, five foot six to five foot eight in height, with medium-toned skin, a moustache and dark-coloured, medium length hair. He was wearing grey track pants and a black coat at the time of the attack.
