17-year-old expected to survive Surrey shooting
Police say the teen was approached by two males outside Surrey's Prince Charles Elementary School
A 17-year-old is expected to survive after he suffered a gunshot wound to his leg Tuesday night, according to Surrey RCMP.
The shooting happened a little before 9 p.m. outside Surrey's Prince Charles Elementary School, in the 12400-block of 100 Avenue.

Police said their early investigation found the teen was approached by two Caucasian males, aged between 17 and 22 years old, and one of the two fired a shot at the 17-year-old victim.
The victim was taken to hospital in stable condition, and his injuries are considered non-life-threatening, according to Surrey RCMP.
Both suspects are described as 178 cm tall (5'10") and wearing dark clothes. They were covering their faces with scarves.
