Vancouver Police searching for witnesses to sexual assault on Davie Street
A 911 caller reported seeing a man grope a number of women on Davie Street Tuesday evening
Vancouver Police are asking for victims and witnesses to come forward after a man was seen groping a number of women downtown Tuesday evening.
Around 5 p.m., a 911 caller reported seeing a man on Davie Street, between Granville and Burrard Street, sexually assault a number of women by groping them.

The man was described as an Aboriginal man in his 30s, around 5 feet 6 inches tall. He had black hair, brown eyes and had a small scar on his right cheek. He was also wearing a black coat, jeans and white running shoes.
Officers arrested a man matching that description close to the area. The women who were the victims of the attack could not be located.
