Vicky Bhullar was working as a security guard at the gathering, when someone informed him of a fight outside.
"I quickly ran downstairs and I saw there was a big knife in the parking lot, and the girl was bleeding," said Bhullar. "It was like a big machete. A huge knife. It was like a sword."
"I went and I talked to [the victim] and she's like, there were two guys who jumped on her and they stabbed her," he said.
Bhullar said the young woman was crying, and speaking on the phone with police. He said she was bleeding from her arm.
Witnesses said neither the woman, nor the alleged attackers appeared to be attending the 500-person party.
Bhullar said the men quickly fled in a grey Honda sedan, before police arrived.
A few minutes later, a car matching the description was involved in a stabbing and pepper spray incident at Victoria Street and 49th Avenue.
It is not clear if the incidents are connected.
