Young man taken away in handcuffs after police surround home in Beddington
Police say they have taken two males into custody in connection to a fatal hit and run near a northwest Calgary gas station on Sunday.
One of them was brought in for questioning earlier on Tuesday while another young man was taken away in handcuffs from a home in Beddington later in the evening.
Police say he came out of the house voluntarily around 10:30 p.m. after police surrounded the home earlier in the evening.

Nearby homes had been evacuated as a precaution, but residents were later allowed to return.
Police say tips from the public led them to the home in Calgary's northwest. They will now interview the persons of interest to see if they were involved before moving forward with the investigation.
Maryam Rashidi died from her injuries after being hit by a stolen truck that left a Centex gas station without paying over the weekend.
The 35-year-old gas station employee had chased down the truck and stood in front of the vehicle to get it to stop, but police say the driver proceeded and ran over her.
