Calgary police are looking for two men in connection with a hit and run and two gas station thefts in northwest Calgary.

They released images and video of the suspects and vehicle in hopes the public will be able to help.

Police say a stolen 2006 Ford Super Duty truck with the licence plate EUX 378 was caught on surveillance leaving a gas station without paying last Friday. The theft happened around 7:30 p.m. MT in the 8400 block of Bowford Road N.W.

The second incident occurred just before 11 a.m. on Sunday at the Centex gas station on 16th Avenue near 17th Street N.W.

A 35-year-old female employee of the gas station tried to stop the truck as it headed west on 16th Avenue and pulled into a parking lot about a block away.

Police say the driver struck the woman and carried her on the hood of the truck for about 15 metres before running her over while fleeing the scene.

The two suspects are described as white, 20- to 25-years-old, with slim builds. One suspect — who was pictured last Friday with a cowboy hat — has blond hair, while the other has brown hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call Calgary police at 403-567-4000 or Crime Stoppers.
