CBC journalists win Atlantic Journalism Awards
Annual awards honour excellence and achievement in journalism on the East Coast
The winners of the 2025 Atlantic Journalism Awards (AJAs) were announced at a gala event in Halifax on June 7.
CBC received 24 AJAs including 11 Gold, seven Silver and six Bronze with work from all four provinces recognized.
Each year, the AJAs honour journalistic excellence and achievement for print, radio, TV, digital news and current affairs in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.
The 2025 Student Award winners are: Magdalena Bastida, NSCC Dartmouth; Judith Mendiolea Lelo de Larrea, Holland College Journalism and Communications; Raeesa Alibhai, Andie Mollins, Landon Morris, Aidan Rawding, Dylan Taylor, University of King's College School of Journalism and Jessie Bruce, NSCC Dartmouth. CBC was among the Student Award sponsors.
