June 14: Daybreak Alberta and Saskatchewan Weekend
The weekend morning shows from Alberta and Saskatchewan met at the Timber Café in Lloydminster, marking the first time the two shows ever came together for a joint broadcast!
Shauna Powers of Saskatchewan Weekend and Paul Karchut of Daybreak Alberta along with a few CBC staff members spent the morning at the Timber Café greeting guests and community members who came out for good coffee and a live radio show.
Shauna and Paul kicked off the morning with talk about the return of Rib Fest, the unique healthcare challenges Lloydminster residents face and much more. You can listen to all these segments (and more) here.

June 27: Radio Active live from the Ponoka Stampede
CBC's Radio Active was live at the 89th Ponoka Stampede, bringing you all the action and chatting with ropers, wranglers, trick riders, performers and rodeo fans.
Those of you who joined us in the Wild West Trade Show at the Ponoka Arena Complex were treated to a performance from Martina Dawn who serenaded us on her guitar. You may have even been lucky enough to walk away with a custom CBC bolo tie!
Meanwhile, Liam Harrap was reporting on all the sights and sounds from the Stampede grounds with live hits throughout the show. You can replay clips from the show here.
