Brantford police release images of shooting suspect and warn he may be armed
Brantford police are searching for a suspect in connection with a "targeted" daylight shooting that left a man with serious injuries.
Officers were called to the area of Colborne Street and Park Avenue around 1 p.m. on March 22 and found a man with a gunshot wound.
Police are continuing to investigate, but say the shooting is believed to be targeted and not a "random act of violence."
Investigators have released images of a man they believe may be responsible for the shooting and are asking the public for help locating him.
He's described as a non-white male, believed to be 20 years old. Police describe him as standing 5'1" tall, weighing about 165 lbs and with black hair in dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, pants with "Champion" in white lettering and brown boots.
