A Hamilton man was arrested Wednesday evening after drunkenly falling off his ebike and into a car in the city's east end.
Around 6:45 p.m., police were called to Cannon Street East and Gage Avenue about a collision involving an ebike and a car. Both vehicles were stopped at a red light in the eastbound lanes on Cannon Street.
The driver of the ebike leaned over and fell into the vehicle in the lane beside him, police say. No one was injured.
When officers arrived it became evident the man had been drinking, and he was arrested and taken to the police station for a breathalyzer test, police say. He blew over two times the legal limit.
A 65-year-old Hamilton man was charged with impaired driving.
