Man wanted in Hamilton homicide faces extradition hearing in Hungary
Oliver Karafa, 28, will be in court Friday, co-accused Lucy Li's next court date set for late August

A man who police said fled to Hungary following a February homicide in Stoney Creek, Ont., is facing an extradition hearing this week.
The Metropolitan Court of Budapest said Oliver Karafa, who is Slovakin-Canadian, is expected to appear in court on Friday.
The 28-year-old has been fighting extradition.
His co-accused, Yun (Lucy) Lu Li, 25, returned to Canada on July 12.
Li and Karafa, both from Toronto, face charges for murder and attempted murder.

Tyler Pratt, 39, was killed and a 26-year-old woman was injured in the Feb. 28 shooting around 7:15 p.m. at a home on Arvin Avenue in Stoney Creek.
Pratt was found dead at the scene and the woman was found with serious injuries. She has since been released from hospital and continues to recover, according to police.
Investigators haven't revealed what led to the shooting, but previously said they are "very comfortable with the motivation for the shooting and the murder."

Police said Li and Karafa left for eastern Europe within 24 hours of the shooting.
Det.-Sgt. Jim Callender previously said the two travelled through several countries, including Slovakia and the Czech Republic, before arriving in Budapest.
He also described the departure from Canada as "unusual."
A previous statement from the Metropolitan Court of Budapest alleges Karafa was the shooter.
Li appeared briefly in a Zoom court via audio on Tuesday. Her next cout date is August 24.
