The Elora Quarry is a limestone quarry that is owned by the Grand River Conservation Authority and open for swimming throughout the summer. It's popular with people needing to purchase tickets in advance of their arrival and are limited to four hour visits.

The quarry has sheer cliffs up to 12 metres high and the conservation authority rules state there is no jumping, driving or climbing permitted from the cliffs. The beach is also not patrolled.
