Police search for delivery driver in Waterloo sexual assault case

Police say the man accused was at the victim's house to deliver items from an online delivery service.

Police are searching for a male delivery driver accused of sexual assault in Waterloo.

A news release says police responded to a report of sexual assault around 7:30 p.m. on Friday in the area of Old Orchard Place and Thorndale Drive.

Police say the suspect was at the victim's house to deliver items from an online delivery service when he sexually assaulted the victim and left prior to police arrival.

There were no reports of any physical injuries as a result of the offence, police say.

Officers with Waterloo Regional Police Service's special victims unit are now investigating.
