4 women in hospital after late-night crash in city's east end

Four women are in hospital after a two-vehicle crash in London's east end late Tuesday night.

The intersection of Huron Street and Highbury Avenue remains closed Wednesday morning

Four women are in hospital after a two-vehicle crash in London's east end late Tuesday night. 

The crash happened at about 11:50 p.m. at Highbury Avenue and Huron Street, police said. 

Three women are have serious but not life-threatening injuries, and the fourth has serious, life-threatening injuries, officials said, and they were taken to hospital by paramedics. 

The intersection was closed until about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Delays in the area were still possible all morning as some lanes remained closed while police investigated.
