Jets move puck-drop forward on day Blue Bombers host CFL Western Final

The start of the Winnipeg Jets home game Nov. 11 has been moved forward, giving fans a bit more time to get from Canada Life Centre to IG Field for a Blue Bombers playoff tilt that same day.

Winnipeg's NHL team will now play at 2 p.m. instead of 3 p.m. Nov. 11.

The start of the Winnipeg Jets home game Nov. 11 has been moved forward, giving fans a bit more time to get from Canada Life Centre to IG Field for a Blue Bombers playoff tilt that same day.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers host the Canadian Football League's Western Final Nov. 11 at 5:30 p.m. Puck-drop for the Jets game against the Dallas Stars was originally set for a 3 p.m. CT, but that's now been changed to 2 p.m., the NHL team announced Thursday.

In 2021, the Jets moved the start time of their Dec. 5 home game against the Toronto Maple Leafs from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. That Jets home game also occurred on the same day the Blue Bombers hosted the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 2021 Western Division Final, which kicked off at 3:30 p.m. local time.

The winner of the Western Final will head to the 110th Grey Cup on Nov. 19 at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton. The Blue Bombers wrap up the regular season Friday night in Calgary and kick-off is set for 8 p.m. CT.
