One person was taken to hospital in unstable condition after a crash between a motorcycle and a car in Winnipeg Thursday night, police say.

Injured person later upgraded to stable after collision on Osborne Street, police say

One person was taken to hospital in unstable condition after a crash between a motorcycle and a car in Winnipeg Thursday night, police say.

The collision happened around 9:40 p.m. on Osborne Street near Don Avenue. The person taken to hospital has since been upgraded to stable, a Winnipeg Police Service spokesperson said in an email Friday morning.

Emergency responders were on scene Thursday evening.

A badly damaged car with airbags deployed was parked on the side of the road, while a motorcycle missing its front wheel sat nearby.

The investigation continues, but police said no charges are expected.
