A 29-year-old man died after his motorcycle crashed with an SUV on Pembina Highway on Wednesday night, police say.
The motorcyclist was headed south on Pembina Highway, south of McGillivray Boulevard, when he collided with an SUV as the vehicle left a parking lot shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday, police said in a news release.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital in critical condition but later died from his injuries, police said.
The SUV driver stayed at the site of the crash to speak with police. Southbound Pembina was closed for several hours because of the crash.
The investigation into the crash continues.
