31-year-old man shot in The Pas last March dies from injuries
Man's death being investigated as homicide as RCMP search for witnesses

A man shot in March has died from his injuries, in what RCMP say was a string of three shootings in a northern Manitoba town.
The 31-year-old's death has been ruled a homicide, RCMP said in a news release Monday.
Police were dispatched to a home in The Pas on Patrick Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on March 7, after receiving reports of a possible shooting. Officers were led into the home, where they found the seriously injured man.
He was taken to hospital in Winnipeg in critical condition.
Police had earlier responded to reports of possible shots fired outside a Settee Avenue home in The Pas around 9 p.m. on March 7, but could not confirm whether a firearm had been used.
The house was not damaged and officers couldn't find any witnesses.
A 26-year-old man who was in hospital with gunshot wounds at 4:45 a.m. told investigators he had been shot while sitting in a vehicle in the nearby community of Umpherville.
The suspects and victims knew each other, RCMP said at the time.
Police ask witnesses or residents who might have video surveillance on Patrick Avenue between 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. on March 7 to call The Pas detachment at 204-627-6204 or make an anonymous report via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
