Winnipeg police push into winter driving rap battle with Salt N Pepa parody

Yo, yo, yo, yo little tyke, Winnipeg has dropped the mic, answering the Canadian police rap challenge with a little Salt N Pepa parody.
(Don't) Push It is the Winnipeg Police Service's entry into the safe winter driving song challenge, which started last week when the Kindersley RCMP detachment in Saskatchewan posted a parody of Ice Ice Baby on Facebook.
Other RCMP detachments and municipal police services across Saskatchewan and Alberta started responding with their own raps, rewriting the lyrics of songs by Flo Rida (Shawty Got Low), Will Smith (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song), Spice Girls (Wannabe), Sir Mix-a-Lot (Baby Got Back) and more.

"It's a fun way to remind people about safe winter driving," said WPS spokesman Const. Eric Hofley.
Winnipeg police were too busy with Grey Cup staffing levels to find time to pen a response before now, he said.
