Join CBC in celebrating CASA's 50th anniversary
Organization serves the English-speaking community in Gaspé, Que.

CBC will be in New Carlisle, Que., to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Committee for Anglophone Social Action (CASA), a community organization in the Gaspé region that works to build and strengthen the vitality of the region's English‑speaking population.
From June 28 until July 1, join Quebec AM host Julia Caron, Breakaway host Alison Brunette and producer Brianne Fequet onsite as they connect with and reflect stories of English-speaking community members in the Gaspé region.

Formed in 1975, CASA develops programs that meet the needs of the English-speaking community living on the Gaspé coast. Originally formed to protect the rights of anglophones in the area, CASA now offers 30 different programs across many different sectors such as youth and employment, equitable access to health and social services and programs that assist seniors in maintaining health and autonomy.
