Man dies in CDN parking lot stabbing

An 18-year-old man has died after he was stabbed in an indoor parking garage at Côte-des-Neiges Plaza on Tuesday night.

The stabbing happened before 6:30 p.m. in the garage attached to the shopping centre and business tower on Côte-des-Neiges Road.

Police said the man had been involved in an argument with two other people before he was attacked.

He died in hospital.

Police spokesperson Anie Lemieux said police took one person into custody for questioning.

"Another one had left the scene before police officers got there. Investigators are still at the point of trying to understand exactly what happened," said Lemieux.

This is the 10th homicide in Montreal this year compared to six by the same date in 2010.
