The city’s food truck pilot project is back for a second year, and this time 30 roving restaurants will take to Montreal streets — including three that will serve coffee and breakfast fare as of 7 a.m.

A third of the trucks allowed to serve this summer will be doing so for the first time.

The food trucks will alternate on 14 sites in the Ville-Marie borough and along the Lachine Canal. They will be permitted to serve from 7 a.m. until 10:30 p.m., seven days a week. The average meal from a food truck is around $10.
