Jonna Brewer to retire as host of Information Morning Moncton
Information Morning Moncton host, Jonna Brewer, will retire on June 27 after 37 years with CBC.
A passionate storyteller, Jonna has held many roles during her career with CBC. She started as an editorial assistant in the National newsroom in Toronto before moving to Moncton to work as a reporter, editor and executive producer. Jonna has been the host of Information Morning Moncton for the past 14 years.
Jonna is nominated as a finalist for a 2025 Atlantic Journalism Award for her radio doc, Hunter Remembered, a story about the vital need for young people to feel like they matter. In 2015, Jonna and the CBC Moncton team received the RTDNA's Atlantic Peter Gzowski Award for News Information Program.
Audiences will hear Information Morning in the Summer throughout July and August.
