Freezing rain to sweep New Brunswick throughout Monday
Incoming warm front will turn snow to freezing rain

A warm front will pass through New Brunswick on Monday, turning snow to freezing rain that will sweep the entire province.
Most of the province will see between five to 10 millimetres of freezing rain starting Monday morning, according to a weather warning issued by Environment Canada, with snow beginning Sunday night.
"Freezing rain will transition to rain later on Monday morning for southern New Brunswick and in the afternoon for the northern half of the province," the alert states.
Temperatures on Monday are expected to top 10 C.
Similar weather events in the past have caused cancellations of scheduled activities, transportation disruptions, tree damage and power outages, according to Environment Canada.
The freezing rain will last between four and eight hours.
