Another potato with a needle inside it has been found — this time, in the same place where the mystery began: in Labrador City.

Two weeks ago, a man in western Labrador found a sewing needle inside a potato.

Since then, six other tainted potatoes have been discovered, most of them in Newfoundland and Labrador.

All of the tainted potatoes came from Linkletter Farms near Summerside, P.E.I.

In all of the cases, sewing needles were found inside the vegetable.

The RCMP has launched a criminal investigation.
