Clarke's Beach pharmacy armed robbery under investigation

Trinity-Conception RCMP continue to investigate an armed robbery that took place Friday night at a pharmacy in Clarke's Beach.

The robbery happened at 8:30 p.m. Police said two masked suspects entered the business, which was open at the time, and demanded prescription medications.

RCMP said a bearded man wearing a white cap was inside the pharmacy shortly before the robbery occurred. Police consider the man to be a potential witness and are now looking to speak with him.

It is not known what type of weapon was used in the robbery.

Anyone who can identify the suspects, or who has information pertaining to the incident is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
