The Newfoundland Aquaculture Industry Association says the Canadian Food Inspection Agency confirmed the test results on Thursday.
The federal agency has issued an erradication order to destroy the fish at the company's Hermitage Bay site.
It's the third such outbreak in Newfoundland in less than a year.
