For the past three years, LeRiche has been like many other talented songwriter/musicians in St. John's - playing frequent bar gigs, writing and creating, while holding down a day job to pay the bills.

Then a chance encounter at a bar gig earlier this year opened a large door for LeRiche, also known as Brad LeRiche.

"It was late, we were just about to finish, when there was just a show finishing up at Mile One, there was a Hedley concert," said LeRiche.

"So a bunch of these guys walked in, and I instantly recognized them."

"So we kept playing for hours and got to know them and exchanged some information."

LeRiche followed up with his Toronto industry contacts, and travelled to the city to record his debut EP, Quiet Steady, and a video for its first single, Rain.
