Alan Doyle, Fortunate Ones and The Swinging Belles are among those in the running for awards at the 2016 Juno Awards. 

Calgary will play host to the annual music award show that celebrates the best in Canadian music.

Matt Maher has been nominated for Saints & Sinners in the Contemporary Christian/Gospel album category. Maher is also nominated for three Grammy Awards.

Alan Doyle's album So Let's Go has been nominated for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year.

Doyle will go up against Fortunate Ones' album The Bliss.

The Swinging Belles are nominated for Children's Album of the Year for More Sheep, Less Sleep.

Photographer Joel Upshall and art director/designer Duncan Major have also been nominated for Recording Package of the Year for their work on the Long Distance Runners' album Elements.
