Katarina Roxon wins Paralympic gold in 100-m breaststroke
Swimmer Katarina Roxon has won her first Paralympic medal and it's a golden one.

The pride and joy of Bay St. George, Katarina Roxon, won her first Paralympic medal Wednesday, a gold in the 100-metre breaststroke.
She swam the race in 1:19:44 after setting a personal best of 1:21:27 in the qualifying heat earlier in the day.
She was the only Canadian among the eight swimmers in the final.

Roxon won a gold medal in the 100-metre breaststroke at the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games, and scored a bronze in the event at the 2015 World Championships.
This is her third Paralympic Games.
Roxon said the secret to competing well was to relax.
