Larry Foley has spent two decades fronting two-high energy bands: the Punters and the 8-Track Favourites. But he says his new, stripped down solo album, Come Along with Me Bys, is a bit more true to himself.

"When I get to just sing songs, I get to pull back and get into the subtleties of the song," said Foley.

"I think it's a bit more me."

Come Along with Me Bys features Foley's covers of classic Newfoundland favourites, such as John White's Signal Hill and Ron Hynes' Sonny's Dream.
