'Large quantity' of narcotics stolen in pharmacy armed robbery
The RNC says it will be releasing more information on the armed robbery in Mount Pearl later Thursday.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says a "large quantity" of narcotics were stolen in an armed robbery Wednesday night.
Police were called to Pharmachoice on St. David's Avenue in Mount Pearl at 8:18 p.m.
Two men with their faces covered were reported to have held up the pharmacy.
Officers and a K-9 unit responded but made no arrest.
Police have not said what kind of weapon was used in the incident.
The RNC said it will release more details later Thursday.
