Needles, personal objects found strewn on Queen's Road

City crews were called to clean up some very personal items discovered on a sidewalk in downtown St. John's Wednesday morning.

A man out walking his dog posted a photo of the scene on Twitter at round 8 a.m.

The items discovered included used syringes, condoms, and other items, as you can see in the above iPhone video shot by the CBC's Cecil Haire.

An empty purse was also found discarded in the same area near Gower Street United Church on Queens Road.
