Could you survive alone, on an almost-empty island?

Mack McGowen has a wife and five-month-old daughter in Texas, but right now he's staying on a small uninhabited island off the coast of Newfoundland, in Fortune Bay.

McGowen has made Brunette Island — normally home only to rabbits, caribou, ptarmigan and moose — his temporary residence. He's foraging for food while live streaming on Facebook, researching for a new documentary.
