Scott Hammond, teacher and audio engineer, double ECMA nominee

The 2015 East Coast Music Awards will be handed out at a gala event Thursday night in St. John's. 

The awards honour the region's top musical talent, but it also gives those who work behind the scenes a time to shine.

Included in the list of nominees is audio engineer and teacher Scott Hammond of Stephenville.

Hammond mixes tracks and albums for artists across the country from his studio, and is a sound recording and production instructor at College of the North Atlantic.
