Two eagles
Heidi Brining took a canoe trip to where eagles dare to get this incredible photo. Where they're daring nowadays seems to be Sandy Point. (Submitted by Heidi Brining)

Newfoundland and Labrador is waking up to May, and springtime, and still the occasional snowstorm.

But hey, springtime! And that includes denizens of the province with any number of legs, arms or wings hitting the paths, trails and skies, not to mention the sea.

Check out these photos, and if you'd like to send one in for a future gallery, scroll to the bottom to find out how.

Iceberg season is beginning! Linda Lane says she saw four icebergs just days ago near Leading Tickles, with this one almost touching Oceanview Park. (Submitted by Linda Lane)
A dog on the beach.
Bandit here is not, as you might first assume, in Pouch Cove, but rather awaiting the dog days of summer in Banting Park, Musgrave Harbour. (Submitted by Sandra Strickland)
A rocky shore
Some harvesters check their traps near the rocky shores of Lead Cove in Trinity Bay. (Submitted by Gordon Winsor)
duck
Continuing the theme of animals not where you'd think, this black duck is not, in fact, in Black Duck Cove, but rather enjoying a very picturesque pond in Holyrood. (Submitted by Mike Bon)
Cat on boardwalk
Once again this tabby is not, as you might expect, near Catgut Pond on the Burin Peninsula, but rather enjoying a stroll along the Quidi Vidi trail. Kitty Vidi would make for a nice home. (Submitted by Pauline Reid)
iceberg
This iceberg is perched outside La Scie Harbour for all to see. (Submitted by Mike Young)
A pine marten
A pine marten stops by Traytown. (Submitted by Ross Crewe)
