Wind warnings for south, west coast; winter storm could hit Wednesday
More wind and rain on the way, and even more snow possible for the Northern Peninsula
After a weekend wind storm, Environment Canada has yet another wind warning in effect for parts of Newfoundland, and another winter storm may be on the way.
Gusts are expected to reach between 100 and 120 km/h along the southwest coast Wednesday morning.

The winds will spread north and along the coast through the day, and are expected to diminish later in the day.
Once the wind dies down, Environment Canada says there may be a wintry weather system working its way across Newfoundland and to parts of coastal Labrador Wednesday into Thursday.
Snow, blowing snow and strong winds are expected to push into southwestern Newfoundland overnight Tuesday, and spread east across the island Wednesday morning.
The snow will switch over to ice pellets or freezing rain, eventually turning into rain through Wednesday.
However, on the Northern Peninsula, all of the precipitation will be snow.
The snow and rain mix will eventually taper off Wednesday night, Environment Canada says, but will start again later as a second system moves in.
Conditions are expected to improve through Thursday.
