Aklavik, N.W.T., woman found injured on snowmobile trail
Police are investigating after a woman was found injured on a trail in Aklavik, N.W.T., Wednesday morning.

Police are investigating after a woman was found injured on a trail in Aklavik, N.W.T., Wednesday morning.
At around 10:30 a.m., RCMP officers and local nursing staff found the woman injured and unresponsive on a snowmobile trail near J.J. Stewart road.
The woman was medevaced to Inuvik, and from there to a hospital in Edmonton.
The N.W.T. RCMP's Major Crimes Unit is helping the Aklavik detachment with the investigation.
