Charges dropped against Redstone Trophy Hunts
The owners of an Alberta outfitting company had denied spoiling the meat of woodland caribou and moose during a trophy hunt in the Northwest Territories. Now those charges have been dropped.
Charges of meat wasting have been dropped against an Alberta outfitting company that operates in the Northwest Territories.
Redstone Trophy Hunts is based in Cochrane, Alta. and offers sheep, moose and caribou hunts in the Sahtu.
Redstone's owners David Dutchik and his partner, Dallas Gertner, had been charged with wasting the meat of woodland caribou and moose. They denied the allegations.
Their lawyer, Peter Harte, confirmed that charges were dropped in court on March 4.
