Several CBC hosts were present at the 54th Dene National Assembly this year, running from July 22 to 26 in Dettah, N.W.T. 

There was four Indigenous broadcasters doing live coverage of the assembly: Cecilia Boyd, who hosts our Tłı̨chǫ Yatıı̀ language program Tide Godi; William Firth, who hosts Nantaii for Gwich'in communities; Mary Ann Williams, who hosts Legot'sedeh; and Jim Hope, who hosts our Dene Zhatıé language program Dehcho Dene.

There was also live shows airing directly from the assembly from July 23 to 26, between 1 and 3 p.m.
