Many people in Nunavut have taken their own lives, but even more have attempted suicide, according to the Nunavut Suicide Follow-Back Study.

The report also says almost half of the injuries reported at the Qikiqtani General Hospital for people aged 20 to 29 are attempted suicides.

Ida Makpah spoke with CBC's Jessie Fraser about her multiple suicide attempts.
