RCMP investigating after man found dead in downtown Yellowknife

RCMP and officials from the coroner's office are investigating after a sudden death in Yellowknife.

A man was found dead around 8 a.m. on Friday "in the 5000 block of the alley between 48th Street and 49th Street," RCMP said in a statement.

They said a cause of death has not been determined and that the "initial investigation has not uncovered any evidence of foul play."
